Real people, not models. No experience needed.
Full guidance provided throughout entire shoot.

This experience is about seeing yourself differently

Editorial boudoir studio portrait showing photographer Mak Freeman reflected in the mirror while guiding a confident female client during a lingerie photoshoot in a private UK studio with natural light and a clean magazine style.

This shoot is not about trying to be someone else or performing for the camera.

It is about slowing down, being guided, and allowing yourself to be seen in a way you may not have experienced before.

Most people walk in a little nervous and unsure. That changes quickly. Through light, angles, and calm direction, the camera stops feeling intimidating and starts feeling honest.

My job is to help you see what is already there. Your shape, your presence, your confidence. Often for the first time.

People usually leave surprised. Not because they look different, but because they finally see themselves clearly.

This is not about perfection.

It is about seeing what is already there

This is for women and couples who want to explore confidence, self expression, or simply do something for themselves. We can focus on one style or blend multiple looks within the same shoot.

SOFT & ROMANTIC BOUDOIR
Natural window light, gentle movement, and a calmer pace. Lace, sheets, and bedroom-style setups that feel intimate and elegant.

INTIMATE & SENSUAL PORTRAITS

Tasteful, suggestive imagery focused on mood and body language rather than explicit posing.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

I do not see photography as just taking pictures. I see it as shaping how people see themselves.

Light is everything to me. It creates structure, depth, and presence. Used properly, it changes how a body is read on camera and how a person feels when they see the result.

Every shoot I do follows the same principle. To create images that feel intentional. Images where every frame stands on its own. Not rushed. Not random. Not filler.

Most of the people I photograph are not models. Many are in front of a professional camera for the first time. My role is to guide the process so nothing feels awkward or forced. Through direction, positioning, and light, I help people see strength, shape, and confidence that often goes unnoticed.

When someone sees their final images and pauses for a moment, that is the part that matters to me. Not because they look different, but because they recognise themselves clearly.

That is the work I care about.
