My First Bodybuilding Show at the NFMUK

On Saturday, 18.9.21, I had a great opportunity to photoshoot the NFMUK bodybuilding show at Newport, Wales.

Being in the fitness photography industry for a few years already, the bodybuilding show was out of my comfort zone, and to be honest, I had no idea what to do, what to expect and how to pull off the shots from the side of the stage.

And here I am, an opportunity of a lifetime.

I can't express what a fantastic experience it was seeing all of the athletes on the stage, giving a magnificent performance, competing for the champions title to win a ticket to represent Britain in the US in December.

These athletes being training hard to get on the stage, and for me, it was important to capture and documents their best moments. Moments that will stay with them forever, so they will be able to experience

When I started posting these photos on my social media, I was stunned by the amount of positive feedback from the athletes, saying that they hadn't seen anything like it. I managed to capture the emotions, the atmosphere and the story of each and every one of the competitors and the entire event.
