A Different Kind of Photoshoot

This photoshoot with Sami is probably my best motorbike photoshoot to date.

As a motorcycle enthusiast myself, even five years ago when I bought my first bike, I already had the vision that one day my motorbike would become a prop in my photoshoots. I’ve tried a few things here and there over the years, but naturally my photography has been much more focused on fitness, bodybuilding, gyms and studios.

Because of that, I was never really known for outdoor shoots, but I always craved the opportunity to be trusted with something a little different and outside of what I normally do.

This photoshoot with Sami was exactly that. I genuinely believe we created a piece of art together.

The shoot was part of celebrating her transformation journey with her coach, capturing her at her strongest and most glamorous self through a professional photoshoot.

Sami had also done modelling and dance shoots in the past, which made things extremely easy. It meant I could focus much more on the technical side of the shoot, the composition and how I wanted the photographs to look, rather than spending too much time giving posing guidance.

There was still plenty of my own creative input and direction throughout the shoot, of course.

Needless to say, I absolutely love this collection. I handpicked these particular shots because I believe that together they tell a beautiful story from beginning to end.
